Finding your Social Impact Focus – Strategic coaching on nonprofit career paths and more
The transition from one nonprofit job to another may seem straightforward in theory but it can be overwhelming, with thousands of options. Now the process has gotten easier with access to a nonprofit career coach to help guide you to the positions that will highlight your talents and passion. We will review the Impact6 framework (six key strategies for finding your dream job for social impact) to help focus your search in the right direction.
This 2-month package includes the following:
- During the initial two-hour session in week one, we will focus on your current job search strategy and transition plan, determine gaps to be filled and obstacles to overcome, and outline tips to develop a new job search strategy for your future.
- You will receive research guidance on undiscovered nonprofits, regional differences, and new hot career tracks in the social impact space.
- Week two we will discuss in more depth where your true passion and skills lie, we can help fine-tune your resume and cover letter on the phone or via Skype.
- Week three we will help you prepare for your interviews and determine what questions to ask during prospective nonprofit employers interviews, informational interviews, and board of director interviews.
- Week four and beyond we will set-up weekly coaching calls to track progress and tweak the strategy as needed.
