Position: Full-time Office Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
The Office Manager provides support to the organization Administrative, Development, and general Operation functions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administrative: support to the Executive Director and backup support for the other staff including answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, processing expense reports etc.
Development: Assist in helping organize events and work in Raiser’s Edge to update database. Interact and members and donors on a regular basis
Office Management: order supplies, ensure office equipment is working properly and ensure mail is properly distributed. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to operate independently are required
Operations Management: Assist in managing vendors including contacting key vendors for service, reviewing relationships to reduce costs, inquiring into unusual charges, tracking contracts etc.
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat and very helpful if you Raiser’s Edge or other donor management system experience
Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
Design experience either professionally or as a hobby
Highly organized, strict attention to detail, and strong work ethic
Ability to prioritize and work with multiple deadlines without supervision
Three to five years of executive assistant or office management experience
Ability to exercise good judgment, take direction, work in a team, as a good sense of humor and maintain confidentiality of information
Bachelors degree preferred
Religious preference: Moderate to Liberal Christian. The more Bible knowledge the better–helps in proofing material and interfacing with members and donors. This position really needs to have a car to pick up supplies, get to events, etc. Parking on campus is free. Sometimes weekends or evening hours are needed for events or to staff a table at conferences. The candidate must have a very upbeat, warm personality and inclusive of all.
Salary and Benefits:
$35-$40k (dependent on experience). Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Simple IRA with 3% salary match, Flexible hours, all state and federal holidays plus Good Friday, Christmas Eve, the day after Thanksgiving, and the week in-between Christmas and New Year’s. Two week’s vacation.
